Blogging Unit 8

Do I plan to continue blogging when this course is over..Honestly I do not know, I do know this though, had it not been for this course and me getting credit for it I probably would have forgotten it most of the time, I get so busy doing homeowork and discussion boards that I sometimes did not think about it until I got in my gradebook..I want to say yes I will continue blogging but I dont want to say for sure, at this time I just do not know.

Peer Reviews

When it comes to peer reviews, this is my first one I ever had to do. I feel that they are alright to do, just as long as Im respecting the writer. Its hard to read someones work, then write about it, and say what you liked and what you didnt like. They are good to do, so that the writer whos paper you are diong a peer review on, can maybe see where they could do something better, and when someone is critizing their paper, they dont take that to heart, their paper is being reviewed to give them a better understanding on what they did wrong, and what to change.

Last Six Weeks

Where do i begin, Oct 31, my hubby went out of town for work to Nebraska, he was gone until Nov 30. When hes not home, it puts more on me, because i have to keep the run of the house going, focus on school. The last six weeks have not been that bad, they have just been extremely busy. My schooling is most important, and now that christmas is upon us, which came rather quick, I have more shopping to do, and my hubby would be in Cinnannti Ohio until Dec 23 working. so this weekend is busy for me because i have two papers to write, more shopping to do, i have to go grocery shopping and get everything  for dinner, i have decided i am not making cookies this year i just dont have the time. I will have a full house on christmas, looking forward to that, but it would have been alot of help if my hubby was here...well at least hes working so i should not complain things could be worse.

School and Life

For me being an online college student. It has taught me patience, and how to balance things more efficiently, so that everyday doesnt seem like I'm not accomplishing anything. It has influenced me in many ways, I spread my time out wisely, always have my to-do list, and check off as I finish each and every task. I just take one day at a time, some days are more hectic than others, I just get through them and continue my day.

Plagiarism

We need to cite anything that we write that isnt our words. That way our readers know they are someone elses words. If someone used something I wrote and didnt give me credit, I would be upset, because I put all the work and thought into it, and they are taking all the credit, it would be like stealing.

I feel that online schooling its not for everyone, but those of us that are working a full time job, it helps if we are doing online, because then its at our convenience and we dont have to worry about going to classes at a campus. Online for me I really like it, I dont feel like I'm cramming, and I can get my work done, when I feel ready to do so, just as long as it is turned in on time. The ones that have children, I would think doing online schooling would help them alot, they wouldnt have to worry about daycare, or going to a campus. All in all I feel that online schooling you are getting as much out of this as you would if you were giong to a campus. The professors online are awesome and answer your questions when we have one. Some people may need that face to face with a professor, but if not I would definetly reccomend online college to anyone who asks me.

Well what did I do today, I cleaned my house, did some laundry, went tanning..went shopping, and tommorrow I have a hair appt. for the works, I cant wait..
I'm just finishing up some last minute things, then going to relax...

Today I watched the steeler game, I wasnt happy when we lost, but its just a game, I just would of been happier had we won. Well not alot to say today I am just relaxing...
