Unit 10 Advice

The advice I would give anyone taking this course would be to pay attention in seminars because they really help you and give you a better understanding on what is expected of you. And when it comes to writing, again pay close attention to seminar and discussions..the advice given to you in both will make you a better writer and you as a writer has a better understanding on how to write and what is acceptable and what isnt. And always ask questions on things that you do not know, or even if you think you know, but you second guess yourself, just ask, because the professors are their to help and see that you completely understand what you are diong and what is expected on certain assignments.

Unit 9 Almost done

With my paper almost done, it will be a relief when it is completely done, then I can focus on other things, like my a & p II paper that is also due by tues. When writing I sometimes get annoyed, because I have to write papers in both classes..And sometimes I am a last minute writer, I have to be in the mood to write, or it will not sound good and my words will seem like they are scattered. In all honesty, I will be glad when these to classes are done, then it will be on to the next, and I know in my one class I will be writing something, but at least now I have a better understanding on my writing technique.

Blogging Unit 8

Do I plan to continue blogging when this course is over..Honestly I do not know, I do know this though, had it not been for this course and me getting credit for it I probably would have forgotten it most of the time, I get so busy doing homeowork and discussion boards that I sometimes did not think about it until I got in my gradebook..I want to say yes I will continue blogging but I dont want to say for sure, at this time I just do not know.

Peer Reviews

When it comes to peer reviews, this is my first one I ever had to do. I feel that they are alright to do, just as long as Im respecting the writer. Its hard to read someones work, then write about it, and say what you liked and what you didnt like. They are good to do, so that the writer whos paper you are diong a peer review on, can maybe see where they could do something better, and when someone is critizing their paper, they dont take that to heart, their paper is being reviewed to give them a better understanding on what they did wrong, and what to change.

Last Six Weeks

Where do i begin, Oct 31, my hubby went out of town for work to Nebraska, he was gone until Nov 30. When hes not home, it puts more on me, because i have to keep the run of the house going, focus on school. The last six weeks have not been that bad, they have just been extremely busy. My schooling is most important, and now that christmas is upon us, which came rather quick, I have more shopping to do, and my hubby would be in Cinnannti Ohio until Dec 23 working. so this weekend is busy for me because i have two papers to write, more shopping to do, i have to go grocery shopping and get everything  for dinner, i have decided i am not making cookies this year i just dont have the time. I will have a full house on christmas, looking forward to that, but it would have been alot of help if my hubby was here...well at least hes working so i should not complain things could be worse.

School and Life

For me being an online college student. It has taught me patience, and how to balance things more efficiently, so that everyday doesnt seem like I'm not accomplishing anything. It has influenced me in many ways, I spread my time out wisely, always have my to-do list, and check off as I finish each and every task. I just take one day at a time, some days are more hectic than others, I just get through them and continue my day.

Plagiarism

We need to cite anything that we write that isnt our words. That way our readers know they are someone elses words. If someone used something I wrote and didnt give me credit, I would be upset, because I put all the work and thought into it, and they are taking all the credit, it would be like stealing.
